Winter sports

In the south of Limburg the worlds’ largest indoor winter sports resort is situated. With five slopes and eight lifts, a lot of descents are possible. Two green, one blue and even a red slope, offer a lot of variation for people who love winter sports. The longest slope even makes it possible to make a descent of 520 meters. Besides this, on the 500 meter slope, there are being organized FIS Europe Cup and FIS World Cup competitions. For all freestyle skiers and snowboarders, there is an official indoor FIS funpark (largest indoor funpark of the world). Several rails, jumps and kickers make the funpark a real eye catcher.


The extensive gastronomy locations have a clear view on the different slopes. When you don’t feel like going on the slopes you can always look at your family or children, when they are enjoying the snow.
It is even better for the youngest among us, who can have their first snow experiences at SnowWorld. The Maoam child land, a complete course week during school holidays, birthday party or even a school trip to the snow, SnowWorld guarantees 100 % winter sports fun.

 
With the six person chair lift, and original Austrian Almhütte on the slope, the winter sports feeling is completed. A comfort ride with the chair lift, takes you to the top of the slope, where you  can start the descent. To get warmed up during the skiing, you can enter the Almhütte for a hot chocolate with whipped cream or a glühwein. Here you really get the feeling that you are in the Alps!


Besides this, SnowWorld has the newest rental equipment and an international ski- and snowboard school. In March, the doors of Sporthotel SnowWorld Landgraaf are opened. Finally you can go on a winter sports holiday to the Netherlands!
